So many incredible foods have been commoditized, over-farmed, genetically modified, and ultra-processed on industrialized equipment - therefore stripped of many of their nutrients and beneficial compounds. We have sprayed everything with pesticides, pasteurized everything, shoved animals in feedlots, monocropped and ruin soils, added coloring to foods to make them look more "pure." In reality, what's pure is keeping these incredible gifts from the earth as close to their natural form and minimally "processed" by humans into edible foods that bring us joy and health. At Hybrid Human, we try our best for our superfoods to be as close to their natural existence as possible, free of pesticides, organically grown, sustainably regenerative, and free from harmful things like pesticides, GMOs, and heavy metals. Ceremonial Cacao is our first product because it is one of the most nutrient dense foods in the entire world - and has been commoditized into mostly cheap, low quality cocoa powder/chocolate made from unethical practices and industrialized equipment that strips away the nutrients and natural fats.
